Who they are

HealthAlone is an e-commerce health and wellness store based in Kahawa Sukari, Nairobi. They offer a wide range of pharmaceutical products, nutritional supplements, assistive devices, and wellness solutions — all available for home delivery and WhatsApp ordering. Their mission is simple: to help Kenyans and their loved ones live healthier lives, from wherever they are.

The Challenge

HealthAlone was operating in a highly trust-sensitive sector — health and medicine — but their digital presence wasn’t reflecting the quality and credibility they had built offline. They needed a website that would communicate trust instantly, showcase their diverse product catalogue compellingly, and drive online orders and WhatsApp conversions from first-time visitors who had never walked into a pharmacy.

Our Process

We opened by conducting a deep audit of the health e-commerce space in Kenya, studying what builds consumer trust in online pharmaceutical retail. We then designed a clean, clinically-inspired layout that balanced warmth with professionalism — colours and typography that said ‘health expert’ without feeling cold. The site architecture was built to guide visitors from browsing to buying with minimal friction: intuitive product categories, a streamlined prescription submission flow, WhatsApp CTAs prominently placed, and social proof from genuine customer reviews displayed front and centre. Mobile-first design was a non-negotiable, given Kenya’s mobile-driven browsing patterns.

The Outcome

HealthAlone launched with a platform that finally matched their service quality. The site communicates authority, convenience, and care at a glance — giving first-time visitors the confidence to place their first order. The seamless WhatsApp integration and visible customer ratings have become key conversion drivers, turning the site into a true revenue channel rather than just a digital brochure.
