The Challenge

Payroll software is a high-stakes purchase — businesses need to trust a provider completely before handing over something as sensitive as employee salary data and statutory compliance. Wagemaster had a robust, proven product but their digital presence wasn’t communicating that robustness. They needed a website that would build immediate trust with both finance decision-makers (who care about compliance and accuracy) and HR managers (who care about ease of use and features), and that would drive qualified demo requests.

Our Process

We engineered the site around trust and simplicity. The hero section led with the clearest possible articulation of the value proposition — accurate payroll, statutory compliance, no headaches. Feature pages were built to speak the language of two key audiences simultaneously: the CFO who needed to know about KRA compliance, PAYE accuracy, and audit trails; and the HR manager who needed to know about employee self-service, payslip distribution, and leave management. Customer logos, sector diversity, and proof of compliance with Kenyan statutory frameworks were woven throughout as credibility anchors. A clean, persistent CTA pushed visitors toward a free demo.

The Outcome

Wagemaster’s site now converts at the level their product deserves. The dual-audience design ensures no decision-maker feels like an afterthought, and the trust signals built into the design reduce the sales cycle significantly. The platform has become a key driver of new business acquisition.
